CAROLINE RILEY

My yoga journey began 17 years ago, when I began practicing yoga with my sister at a local gym.
After leaving a long career in Corporate America 2 years ago, I’ve spent many hours in reflection to observe and learn about the world around me: meditation, yoga, and music have lead the way. I dusted off the piano keys and the saxophone from highschool and began going to open mics at a local venue. At these open mics and beautiful expressions of music and humans week after week, the fire of the community of music was re-ignited within me.
During this same time, I was also practicing yoga intensely and completing my teacher training. As I saw the two communities bring such aliveness to my existence, a tiny idea popped into my brain to merge the two.
We’re bringing it full circle in a fusion concept: live music yoga! You may have seen more of a jam band or DJ environment with music and yoga fusion events. Our events take a slightly different path, winding through a journey of calming serenity, slowing the body down and finding space in the breath and movements. Our first series will explore classical piano, and the echoing melodies to accompany our practice. Join us for this unique experience!
Daniella Rukin

Daniella Rukin is a Chicago-based actor, pianist, and singer. She has been playing the piano since her mother forced her to at a very young age. (Thanks Mom!) She also fell in love with the magic of theatre as a kid, fell in love with magic of film as a teenager, and later graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in Theatre Performance.
Since then, she has worked across the country, from California to New York, acting and playing the piano, on-screen and on-stage. Feel free to browse around to find media, reviews, pictures, and current events.
